The Legend of Zorro

Not a terrible sequel, but more or less a typical hollywood sequel. The first was a decent movie, but as decent as these followups are they never bring anything new or memorable to the table. The kid in this movie, Adrian Alonso, is great. The rest are so so.

Typical voodoo scary movie. More suspense than anything, no real terror. More a mind trip for peole spooked by voodoo magic. In the end, lackluster and ho hum.

Slow moving, lots of backstory and character development even though the cut scenes short to fit everything in. Not too much focus on the toys (yes!). That girl from dawson's creek (oh crap) actually believable as an anti-vengence lawyer geek. Still not the best fit. Only bad thing; stupid Spiderman-esque "now comes the romance!" ending. Where'd that come from? At least he wasn't doing it all for her. I hope not, especially since he dumps every girl for a different one in each sequel. All in all, not too much to complain about on this.
