Horrible. Stupid story (completly obvioius), bad casting with Nicole Kidman as controlling/submissive idiot housewife. Bette Midler makes a fun screw-it-all author. Bad, bad, bad.

Hellboy

Average comic conversion, ok once, great casting for Hellboy (Ron Pearlman.. hardly recognizable as a sensitive monster), Selma Blair makes a cute but uninteresting firegirl. Annoying effeminate fish man. Old school nazi's gone voodoo twist (ala Indiana Jones), works. A little too modern, technology and fast pace.

Bad scifi cross series experiment. Horrible plot, incredibly bad storyline. Predators are good guys? Wimpy girl becomes adopted predator clan pet? Aliens are no more than pretty jumping scary things. Completely hoses both series. Stupid director...
