Interesting, as always. Not nearly as fun as the first time around (Sorcerer's Stone), and just a hint of the kids growing up. Somehow it's too long, too many turns, more like a book than a movie. Who would've thought. Problem with that is there's never enough time for nuance...

Not a terrible sequel, but more or less a typical hollywood sequel. The first was a decent movie, but as decent as these followups are they never bring anything new or memorable to the table. The kid in this movie, Adrian Alonso, is great. The rest are so so.

Typical voodoo scary movie. More suspense than anything, no real terror. More a mind trip for peole spooked by voodoo magic. In the end, lackluster and ho hum.
