Big news everyone!

So I have big news everyone. Lauren and I are engaged! I've taken my sweet time posting it here, and if you stalk me on facebook (or if you live within a 50 mile radius) you've probably already heard, congratulated me, and told 4-5 people that don't even know me.

It's a crazy-big decision, one that I stressed over for quite a while... and now I have complete peace about it. I know what I want! That's rarity for me, and I revel in it. So now it's just the small matter of planning a wedding. My original BBQ/pot-luck outdoor fun-fest idea has been scrapped, but hopefully I can salvage some of the more fun aspects of my idea for our reception.

Yes, not "my reception" but "our reception". I have to remember to use first person plural pronouns now.
